Help the Museum’s Collection Grow

The Zapata County Museum of History wants to explore the history of the Zapata County. We are looking for donations to our collections that help to tell the many stories of Zapata County. We need your help in order to accomplish our goal. Here are some of the areas that we are focusing on for donations.
 

Education in Zapata County

We are looking for anything that relates to life at School past and present this may or may not include the following:
  • Spirit Shirts
  • Prom/Homecoming/Formal Dresses and Suits
  • Athletic Apparel/ Letterman Jackets/ Band Uniforms
  • Class Rings/ Graduation Cap and Gowns
  • Programs/Announcements/Yearbooks/ Report Cards
  • Uniforms from a job
  • And anything else that relates to life in School
 

Working in the Zapata County

We are looking for anything that relates to businesses and industries in the Zapata County, which may include but are not limited to:
  • Documents (i.e. letterhead, business cards, etc.)
  • Promotional Items
  • Products
  • Uniforms
  • Transportation items
 

Living in the Zapata County

We are looking for items related to everyday life in the Zapata County, which may include but are not limited to:
  • Toys and Games
  • Sports Equipment
  • Men’s Clothing
  • Women’s Clothing
  • Children’s Clothing
  • Documents
  • Letters
  • Civic Clubs/Organizations
