This book contains the church censuses (Padrones) for Revilla (Guerrero Viejo) for the years 1780, 1791, 1804, 1819, and 1825. These were the most legible and complete years. The 1791 is a unique census since it mentions the occupations of the people.

Many of the people mentioned in this book, my ancestors, were founders of villas and towns throughout Northeastern Mexico and many of them were military men. They were settlers and adventurers and the majority were farmers and raised livestock like my father and grandfather used to do.
